The Australian Embassy provides a number of services to help travelling Australians. The Consular Services Charter outlines how we may assist Australian nationals overseas.
Emergency assistance to Australians
The Australian Embassy in Warsaw provides passport, consular and notarial services by appointments only.
If you require consular assistance during business hours, Monday to Friday 9:00am-4:30pm you can contact us +48 22 521 3444 and select option 2.
Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected]. Please note we will not respond to any enquiries related to visa matters directed to this email address.
If you require assistance outside of business hours, or on a weekend you can call the Consular Emergency Centre, which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on +61 2 6261 3305. Alternatively you can dial +48 22 521 3444 and follow the instructions to be put through to the Consular Emergency Centre.
Passports
Passport application interviews and notarial services at the Embassy in Warsaw are offered by appointment only. Appointment can be booked online using the link below.

MAILED-IN APPLICATIONS - Adult renewals
If you meet the eligilbilty criteria below, you may be able to submit your application to renew your Australian adult passport by post.
Eligibility:

For an Adult passport renewal, you must be 18 years and over and you will need a passport that:

was issued when you were aged 16 or older
-
was issued on or after 1 January 2006
-
had, when it was issued, at least two years’ validity
-
has your current name, date of birth, place of birth and gender, and
-
has not been reported lost, stolen, or cancelled.
Current passport and notarial fees:
The fees are charged in Polish zloty based on exchange rate and are set at the beginning of each month depending on fluctuations in the exchange rate.
Please note: We only accept electronic payments or payment by bank card at the counter. We do not accept cash payment.
When lodging application for a full validity passport overseas, both the application fee and the overseas surcharge apply.
If you lodge passport application by post, fees are charged on your bank card. Please complete the pre-authorisation payment form and once we have your documents, we will contact you for full bank card details.
